Community Swap Meet on July 26!
Published Thursday, Jul 9, 2015
The SEEDS Community Gardeners are hosting the first-ever SEEDS Community Swap Meet on Sunday, July 26 from 2 to 4 pm. We’d like you to come to this fee-free swap meet that will focus on trading and bartering mostly things that we grow, make, or do. If you have a skill to share or a service to offer, you can make a coupon describing this “product” and trade it for other items. You may also pay cash or trade items not on the list.
Here’s a partial list of items you might consider trading:
- Things you Grow: fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, potted plants, eggs
- Things you Make: jams and pickles, craft items (knit, sew, pottery, woodworking, etc), beer and wine, fermented products, baked goods
- Skill share: how to preserve foods, how to build something, how to make beer or wine, how to train your dog, how to cook or bake something, music lessons
- Services: help with yardwork, babysit, provide pet care, build or help build something, cook or bake, provide music for a party, house cleaning
Please mark your calendars and invite your friends!
