Community Gardening

Grow your own food at SEEDS!

Looking to get your hands in the dirt?  How about learning how to grow your own fruits and vegetables?  Having fun with others while working outside in a beautiful organic garden?

Join SEEDS’ Community Gardening Program!

Community Gardening encourages Durham residents to produce their own food by providing growing space, advice, tools, and other resources.  The program also aims to build community through the shared experience of gardening.  If you are interested in more information, please email Rebekah Resnick at bekah@seedsnc.org or Francesca Hyatt at francesca@seedsnc.org or call 683-1197.  See you in the garden!

Our mission: SEEDS encourages respect for life, for earth and for each other.  We help individuals, neighborhoods and communities grow together through gardening, gathering and education.
