SUPPORT SEEDS

10 Ways You Can Support SEEDS

1. Donate Money
SEEDS seeks to be a truly grassroots organization, one that is funded directly by the community out of which it grows.

2. Donate Goods
We are always in need of garden supplies, office supplies, printing services, and any other product or service that organizations need to function.  Please contact us for more information on specific items we could use at present.

3. Donate Time
SEEDS needs volunteers for all areas of our work. We can match your talents and interests with tasks that are vital to our mission.

4. Direct Us to Funders
If you know of corporations, foundations or individuals with money to give and values that are aligned with our mission, please let us know…or better yet, introduce us!

5. Buy Produce From DIG
Our youth gardeners sell fresh organic produce at the Durham Farmer's Market every Saturday morning from 8 a.m.-noon from June through November.

6. Buy a T-shirt
Sport the SEEDS logo proudly!

7. Buy a Bumper Sticker
We would love to see the SEEDS bumper sticker all around Durham on your car or bike! Help us spread the word.

8. Shop Online Through igive.com
SEEDS is linked through this portal to many of the most popular shopping sites. Every time you make a purchase through www.igive.com, a portion of the cost is returned to SEEDS at no additional cost to you.

9. Donate Your Car Through donationline.com
SEEDS can now accept donations of cars, boats, RVs, motorcycles, jet skis,
even airplanes through this broker. The process is simple: you make a call, donationline.com picks up your vehicle, sells it and sends the proceeds (minus
an administrative fee) to us.

10. Connect Your Food Lion MVP Card to SEEDS' Account
Simply call (800) 210-9569 and say that you want to join the Lion Shop & Share program with SEEDS as your beneficiary, or go to www.foodlion.com and click on the Fundraising Shop & Share icon. Food Lion will donate a portion of your total purchases to SEEDS.

Our mission: SEEDS encourages respect for life, for earth and for each other.  We help individuals, neighborhoods and communities grow together through gardening, gathering and education.
