It is the peak of our growing season, making us look forward to autumn’s bounty as we eagerly anticipate the 2013 SEEDS Harvest Dinner. Help us meet our goal of raising $50,000 to expand and improve the excellent programming SEEDS offers while celebrating the best of food culture in the Triangle. This exciting evening will offer a variety of favorite local chefs and restaurants featuring seasonal fare – see the growing list of purveyors below!
It is our fortune to be part of a community that values our farms, farmers, markets, and chefs. As our nation faces an epidemic of childhood obesity, an increase in diabetes and the toxic effects of chemicals in food production, Durham is building a foundation to reverse those trends. Your support helps SEEDS continue to be a leader in these efforts as we build a more sustainable future by educating our youth – and your presence at the Harvest Dinner helps our community grow. We hope to break bread with you September 19!
