  • We are happy to tailor your field trip to reflect your class curriculum or educate on a number of topics. Please reach out to info@seedsnc.org if you have specific requests or questions.

  • In advance of your field trip, please let your students and chaperones know about our visit guidelines:

    • Wear closed-toed shoes

    • Dress for the weather (hats, sunglasses, etc.)

    • Bring a reusable water bottle

    • Wear + bring sunscreen and bug spray

    • Long pants are recommended

  • All students and chaperones are required to complete a waiver that we will send you upon confirmation of your field trip. Any students under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Any student or chaperone without a waiver will not be allowed to participate. We recommend giving your students at least a week to return their signed, completed waivers.

All waivers can be provided to SEEDS upon arrival on field trip day.

  • We do host field trips in the rain. In the event of severe weather we will reschedule.

  • Our building is ADA compliant, but our garden is not. Please let us know if you have students coming on your field trip who could benefit from modifications or adaptations to the program instruction or navigation in the garden.

  • Please bring any medications students might need for bee stings and bug bites, asthma attacks, etc.

  • You may cancel your enrollment and receive a refund of your fee up to a week before the date of your program. Any program canceled by SEEDS will result in a complete refund.
