Rent Our Space

SEEDS, Durham’s educational community garden, has indoor and outdoor spaces available to rent that not only highlight the lush garden surroundings but also include sustainable design components to create a truly unique setting with minimal environmental footprint.

When you use the facilities at SEEDS, all of the proceeds directly support the operation and mission of our organization. Feel great knowing that you had the perfect venue for your event and that you contributed to a wonderful cause at the same time.

SEEDS will not rent for the following uses:

  • Parties or dances that are open to the general public and do not have a specific guest list.

  • Commercial use by private groups for the purpose of sales or promotions.

  • Fundraisers are considered on a case-by-case basis, with priority given to SEEDS Community Partners.

  • Any use deemed by the SEEDS to be in conflict with our mission and policies

The PawPaw Room

  • This multipurpose space is ideal for various occasions, including meetings, parties, wedding receptions, and other events. With a versatile layout and ample room, it can accommodate both small gatherings and larger celebrations.

The Kitchen

  • Our kitchen is the perfect staging area for food preparation, or for teaching a cooking class. The kitchen opens directly into the Pawpaw Room and is perfectly located to allow an easy flow when hosting an event that is focused on the culinary experience.

    This area can accommodate up to 20 people.

The Sensory Garden

  • The Sensory Garden is a beautifully curated space with access to the garden’s most enchanting areas, perfect for weddings and intimate dinners. Pair it with our PawPaw Room for a complete, unforgettable venue.

  • Our conference room is an intimate meeting space for groups of 10 or less. This room is ideal for meetings, discussions, and retreats.
