SAS in the Garden

At Seeds in Durham, bright and early they came,

SAS team in tees, each one proud of the name.

With shovels and gloves, they worked side by side.

Turning tough earth where new roots could reside.

They pulled at the weeds with grit in their hands,

clearing the ground for more purposeful plans.

Raised beds were lifted and carefully laid,

In soil where future green harvests are made.

But nature, of course, had a challenge to spare-

Fire ants rose up with a sting and a glare.

Still, laughter and teamwork stood firm in the sun.

As seeds of goodwill were sown, job well done.
