Harvesting Gratitude Together This Thanksgiving

As the Thanksgiving season arrives, we’re invited to pause, breathe, and reflect on the moments both big and small that have shaped our year. In a world that moves so quickly, Thanksgiving offers us a rare opportunity to slow down and appreciate the abundance already around us, the relationships that support us, the lessons that strengthen us, and the communities that connect us.

This year, we at SEEDS are especially grateful for you. Whether you’ve been part of our community for years or have only recently joined, your presence makes a meaningful difference. Your feedback, your enthusiasm, your trust, and even your simple act of showing up all help us grow, evolve, and continue doing what we love. We don’t take that for granted.

Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude is not just a feeling, it’s a practice. It’s found in the conversations that bring laughter, in the help that shows up when we need it most, in the successes we celebrate together, and in the challenges that teach us resilience. It shows up in every corner of our everyday lives, if we choose to notice it.

As we reflect on our work this year, we’re also deeply thankful for the many hands and hearts that make SEEDS what it is. From volunteers who show up rain or shine, to youth who bring curiosity and joy into our garden, to community partners who amplify our mission, every contribution strengthens our roots. The garden teaches us that growth takes time, care, patience, and togetherness. And this season, we’re reminded how much of our growth has come from your support and shared belief in the power of community.

As you gather with family, friends, or even enjoy a quiet moment by yourself, we hope your holiday is filled with warmth, connection, and reflection. May your table be surrounded by people who lift you up, may your home be filled with comfort and peace, and may your heart feel especially full.

From all of us, thank you for being part of our journey. We are excited for all that lies ahead and grateful to walk into the next season with you.

Wishing you a joyful, meaningful, and abundantly happy Thanksgiving.

May this holiday remind us all that gratitude grows best when it’s shared, and we’re truly thankful to share this community with you.
