About the DIG Program
DIG is a youth-driven, urban farming and leadership development program. The DIG youth crew work together to accomplish meaningful work that impacts their community, such as managing the market garden and farm stand, participating in workshops, cooking healthy meals for one another, fighting for food justice and engaging in leadership and team building activities.
The DIG program runs three days a week, including a day at market on Saturdays, for about 10 hours per week. Each youth member is paid a competitive wage for their work at SEEDS and have opportunities to cultivate their own farm space to bring produce to market.
We are excited to be re-launching DIG for our next group of high school and post-high school students in Spring 2019! If you are a youth currently enrolled in high school or are post-high school not currently enrolled in a higher education program, please contact Trevor Hyde (email@example.com) for more information or fill out the form below!
