GET INVOLVED + HELP SEEDS GROW
There are many ways to get involved – and get your hands dirty – at SEEDS! Check out our volunteer options, and check back often for new opportunities.
Volunteer with Youth
SEEDS seeks dedicated volunteers to work with K – 8 youth in our After-School Program! We seek people with a curiosity and passion for farming, cooking, youth development, or tutoring skills to support our staff in delivering our empowering programming. These volunteer opportunities are Monday – Friday starting at approximately 3:00 PM. We ask that you are able to commit to at least one day per week for this opportunity.
Volunteer Internships for Adults
Do you have a passion for Food Justice, Food Access Issues, and/or communities impacted by Gentrification and Food Apartheid? Share that passion and learn valuable skills with us! Through this opportunity you will:
- Volunteer with our youth program (limited availability)
- Get dirty!
- Learn basic vegetable garden/farm maintenance such as plant identification, weeding, planting, and harvesting.
- Learn seasonality of crops so you can plan for your own garden or small farm
- Apply here! (weekly commitment)
