Summer Camp at SEEDS
Grow. Play. Learn.
SEEDS summer camp in Durham offers an exciting, hands-on learning experience where children explore nature through gardening, cooking, and outdoor activities. Held in a two-acre garden, located minutes from the city center, the camp allows students to actively engage with the environment by planting fruits and vegetables, observing wildlife, and learning sustainable practices. The program is designed for elementary-aged children and emphasizes experiential learning, giving campers the chance to connect with the natural world while developing practical skills like growing food and preparing simple, healthy meals.
In addition to gardening, the SEEDS summer camp encourages creativity, teamwork, and curiosity through interactive lessons and group activities. The overall goal of the program is to build confidence and environmental awareness while fostering a sense of community, making it a fun and meaningful summer experience for young learners in Durham.
